Very well sculpted miniature loon.  The breast is raised and the head with a carved bill is in a forward swimming position angled lightly to the right.  The wings are raised and covered in fine dotting.  To provide depth Ian aged the surface.  The underside bears a tiny lead pad weight and line tie and has "I McNair" incised.
