Wall Mounted Mourning Dove

Resting mourning dove perched atop a natural wood mount.  There is a nail embedded in the base for the dove to sit on.  This piece can be removed and the dove can be displayed on a normal stand.  Both the base and the bird are signed and dated.  The wings are relief carved and come to a raised point over the downward tail.  Bill and face details, particularly around the glass eye, are textured to impart some realism.
